The BUWAcover Span cover 
is a basic solution to protect against algea growth
The users of water storage systems are very often confronted with algea growth, which can obstruct the irrigation system and influenze the water quality. The span cover is a simple anti algea cover system to minimize the algea growth. The woven polypropylen tissue covers the tank and water completely. The open structure of the cover material is suitable to let rainwater into the tank. This cover is primairily used as an indoor solution. For outdoor useage we limited the construction to a maximum ø 8 diameter, because of wind load. This BUWAcover Span is oversized and has a reinforced hem with rustproof rings for fastening by drag cord. The cover needs to be installed over and across the steel panel wall of the tank
